QUALIFICATION
- Candidate must possess Diploma / Courses conducted by NIOSH for Safety Officer qualification or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years’ working experience in related field, preferably already pass NIOSH test and certified.
- Possess Green Book registered with DOSH.
OTHER PERSONAL CAPABILITIES
- Possess good communication and written skills.
- Possess leadership and training skills.
- Able to instill teamwork and be result-oriented.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan and monitor Safety and Health activities within the company and its requirement.
- To ensure the implementation and practice of Safety and Health policy in the company are adhere to and suggest for continuous improvement in this area.
- To liaise with external government offices and authorities in relation to Safety and Health matters.
- To assist in all job assignment undertaken by the department.
- Shall assist HOD / superior to secure the environmental, safety, health and welfare of employee or any other related party against risk to environmental, safety or health.
- Other assigned duties as required.
